What is Granblue Fantasy on Steam®
Granblue Fantasy is a classic JRPG that first launched in Japan for mobile devices and web browsers in 2014. Now, for the first time, new players outside of Japan can join the experience through Steam.
Inside, you’ll find a deep, turn-based combat system packed with nuanced mechanics, elemental strategies, and an enormous array of skills to pull from. Cinematic charge attacks, team-based chain bursts, and towering summons elevate your battles with both devastating effectiveness and dazzling visuals. Whether tackling raids solo or joining fellow skyfarers in real-time co-op raids, there’s always a new challenge to conquer. With more than 70 distinctive classes and robust character and weapon progression, there’s a wealth of content to explore and optimize – perfect for dedicated adventurers.
Beyond the main quest lies myriad tales – sometimes lighthearted, but always rich in character. Each encounter is brought to life with full voice acting, and every new crewmate brings their own story, with fate episodes that delve deeper into their lore. Discover your favorites, strengthen your crew, and forge parties to surmount any challenge. In these boundless skies, Granblue Fantasy offers countless ways to play, and countless reasons to fall in love with the journey.
With the Steam release, the game will be playable in a 16:9 interface for the first time.
Details
Players residing outside of Japan will be able to access Granblue Fantasy using their Steam® accounts, and enjoy a redesigned layout optimized for 16:9 widescreen displays, a departure from the original vertical layout used on Mobage, GREE, DMM, and Yahoo! platforms. Please note that this service won’t be available in certain regions, including Japan. Additionally, players will not be able to play the Steam® version with preexisting accounts from other platforms, nor will they be able to transfer data from those accounts to the Steam® version. The Steam® version is available in English and Japanese.
