Cygames Appointed Main Sponsor of G1 American Oaks at Santa Anita Park

Race To Be Held as the American Oaks Presented by Cygames

TOKYO — Dec. 8, 2025 — Video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe, hereinafter referred to as “Cygames”) has formed a partnership with Los Angeles Turf Club, a division of 1/ST that operates as Santa Anita Park, becoming the main sponsor of the American Oaks (G1), to be held this year at Santa Anita Park on Friday, Dec. 26. As part of the sponsorship agreement, the race will be officially named the American Oaks (G1) presented by Cygames.

The American Oaks: A Prestigious G1 Race Watched Around the World.In the $300,000 American Oaks, three-year-old fillies run 1 ¼ miles on Santa Anita Park’s iconic turf course. The race was inaugurated as an international competition in 2002 with the name American Oaks Invitational Stakes and gained recognition as an international G1 race two years later. Today, it is watched closely both in the United States and around the world..The 2025 American Oaks will carry the Cygames name in conjunction with the partnership. In addition, the Cygames logo will be featured on the race program, jumbotron, and saddle cloths..
