XSEED Games Announces Digital Pre-Order and Demo for Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle
Publisher Confirms August 10 Release Date for Strategic Card Battler, Demo Now Available for Download via Nintendo eShop
TORRANCE, Calif. – July 1, 2021 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today opened digital pre-orders and released a demo for Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, the strategic card battle RPG set in the world of the anime based on Cygames’ hit mobile title Shadowverse, launching for the Nintendo Switch™ system on August 10. The physical edition is available for pre-order at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a MSRP of $49.99. A standard digital edition is also available now for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for $49.99. Both digital and retail versions will come with a special promo code granting two alternate art cards (three cards each), 10 seer’s globes, and cosmetic items redeemable in the mobile or PC version of Shadowverse.
Ahead of the title’s release, XSEED Games released a free demo today for players eager to try out card battles and meet members of the Tensei Academy Shadowverse club. Available now through the Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle eShop page, the demo features the first chapter of the game, introducing players to their classmates and the basics of Shadowverse card battles. Players who try out the demo will be able to carry their progress over to the full game when it releases on August 10, allowing them to pick up right where they left off.
About Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle
In Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, players take the role of a transfer student to Tensei Academy, where they are quickly introduced to the Shadowverse card game by their classmate, Hiro Ryugasaki. The new friends team up with Shadowverse club president (and only member) Rei on a quest to master the popular card battle game and restore the club to its former glory by winning the national championship. Throughout their adventures, players will be able to explore unique locations around the school and surrounding town, where events and encounters await in the least expected places. Team up with new friends, battle to become the national champions, and save the Shadowverse club for future generations!

Developed by Cygames and published by XSEED Games in North America on the Nintendo Switch™ system, Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will release on August 10. A retail version of the game is available for pre-order through the XSEED Games Store for a MSRP of $49.99, and the digital pre-order on the Nintendo eShop is also available now for $49.99. The title has been rated “T for Teen” on the Nintendo Switch™ by the ESRB.
