Florianópolis, Brazil — July  13 , 2017 — Hoplon, the leading video games developer in Brazil is today eager to highlight that teams wanting to compete at the first ever ESL Play Heavy Metal Machines Esports European Championships, with a cash prize pool in excess of €10,000, will need to put pedal to the metal as registration closes on Saturday July 15th. Since the game is in Open Beta phase, there is no need to be a pro player to register.


Heavy Metal Machines is currently available to play for free on Steam.


Filled with intuitive fast-paced action, team play elements, unique MOBA gameplay and a heavy metal soundtrack, aspiring esports players, or current professionals from around the world can play on the European server. The only requirement being that they need to register at the following link:


Using a combination of skill, teamwork and guile, players will go bumper-to-bumper with rival teams in a bid to scoop a share of the fantastic prize pool – and with it the glory of holding aloft the ESL Play European Championship Heavy Metal Machines trophy.

The tournament kicks off with Qualifiers on July 16, using the Swiss Model, with the Playoffs taking place on July 23. The Main Finals, including Lower Bracket, are on July 30.
