Set on the east coast of Australia, Emerald Coast features 64 square miles of breathtaking nature for players to immerse themselves in. Whether gamers want to catch the sunrise whilst exploring the rugged outback, or hunker down in the subtropical bushlands at night, Emerald Coast’s diverse ecosystem can be as dangerous or relaxing as they want it to be.
With a 14-species strong roster of new and returning animal species, Emerald Coast has something in store for beginner and veteran hunters alike. Go hunt the aggressive Saltwater Crocodile near waterways, carefully stalk a herd of Javan Rusa Deer graciously moving through the grassy fields, or step into the ring with a true boxing legend; the Eastern Grey Kangaroo.
Hunters who purchase Emerald Coast will also receive a brand-new bolt-action rifle: the Zagan Varminter .22-250. Popular among Australian farmers, this lightweight and comfortable weapon is a strong choice for hunting class 2-4 animals.
Additionally, just in time for the Emerald Coast release, theHunter: Call of the Wild base game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from June 22–29.
theHunter: Call of the Wild Emerald Coast Australia with Outback Update is available now to purchase on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A 20% launch discount is available on Steam until June 27 at 10am PT/1pm ET.
