Tripwire Interactive, developers of Killing Floor 2 and Rising Storm 2, is expanding its role to include publishing great games on PC and consoles. To celebrate the company’s expanded role, Tripwire Interactive treated fans to a special PAX West panel at the Hydra Theater. Attendees to the packed panel got a chance to see and hear more about Maneater, the action RPG where you play as a shark, and Road Redemption, the award-winning action racer now available on Steam and coming soon to consoles — and much more.

To watch the PAX West panel in its entirety, please visit the official Tripwire Interactive channel.

Highlights from this year’s Tripwire Interactive PAX West panel include:

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam MP Campaign content slated for the end of September this year will introduce a new timeline driven Multiplayer Campaign mode spanning the years from 1965-1975.

Developer Antimatter Games and Publisher Tripwire Interactive shared a first-look at the new Rising Storm 2: Vietnam MP Campaign Fall 2018 update in development. In addition to new weapon and map updates, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam players can also look forward to a brand-new timeline driven Multiplayer Campaign that can span up to 11 years. Players must maximize control over all Battlegrounds while forcing the enemy faction out of Combat Power. The faction with the most Victory Points wins.

Players interested in an advanced look at the new Multiplayer Campaign mode are encouraged to visit the game’s official Steam page for details on Community Test Branch sessions.

Killing Floor 2 – Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade content update coming soon to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 2, 2018! Tripwire also announced the Killing Floor 2: New Grounds Mapping Contest with $50K in cash prizes! More information on the mapping contest will be revealed soon on all of Tripwire’s official channels.

Killing Floor 2 fans received a first-look tour through the brand-new Monster Ball map, one of the many new features included in the upcoming Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade update scheduled to release on October 2 for all platforms. Players also got a more intimate look at the behind-the-scenes creative process with advanced screenings of the upcoming update trailer in production and concept art for the many Halloween-themed Zeds and weapons in the works for this year’s Halloween celebration.

Killing Floor 2 PC players who can’t wait till October 2, can expect two BETA phases coming soon – and are encouraged to keep an eye on the official Killing Floor 2 Steam page for updates.

Road Redemption players on Steam can look forward to an exciting crossover with Killing Floor 2.

Following the October 2 launch of the Killing Floor 2 — Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade update on Steam, players who own both games will receive access to two new playable characters in Road Redemption from Killing Floor 2: Hans Volter and DJ Skully.

Killing Floor 2 players will gain access to the “Road Redeemer”, a chained bat and favored melee weapon of road warriors in Road Redemption. The Road Redeemer is a Tier 2 melee weapon that can be found under the Berserker Perk.

Console players can also take advantage of the upcoming Road Redemption/Killing Floor 2 crossover later this year when Road Redemption, the critically acclaimed action racer inspired by the Road Rash series, launches for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Maneater also made a big splash at PAX West! Following its world exclusive reveal at the PC Gaming Show, E3 2018, PAX West panel attendees were also treated to a deeper dive into Maneater, the action RPG where you play as a shark.

Attendees were treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes presentation, showing off the game’s development tools and testing levels, offering an early glimpse at the creative direction developer Blindside Interactive is taking with its unique underwater approach to the action RPG genre. Players witnessed a shark devouring hundreds of humans along with work-in-progress screenshots and a high-level overview of Maneater’s key features, including:

  • Become a Maneater. Play as a giant shark and terrorize the coastal waterways. Tear swimmers and divers limb from limb, and give the humans a reason to fear you.
  • Explore a massive open world. Immerse yourself in a living, breathing world full of threats and rewards. Explore sunken wrecks, lurk in swamps, or just cruise the open ocean looking for whales to feed on.
  • Deep Stats and Role Playing. Role-play and customize your shark with a variety of stat driven systems. Evolve different parts of your body to improve how they function, or pump up your ferocity to enter brief feeding frenzies.
