Chivalry 2 will Double in Size for Free, New E3 Trailer Offers First-look at Post-launch Plans

Torn Banner Studios is an independent video game developer based in Toronto, Canada. Following the release of the award-winning and genre-defining multiplayer hit, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, the team has been hard at work creating a “true sequel” experience with Chivalry 2 with support from publisher Tripwire Presents and global retail publisher Deep Silver.

The ultimate medieval battlefield has arrived! Chivalry 2 is out now for PC (via Epic Games Store), the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems, the Xbox One family of devices, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems. But for the developers at Torn Banner Studios, this is just the beginning of an exciting journey!

Join Torn Banner Studios CEO and Chivalry 2 Creative Director Steve Piggott along with development leads for an exciting look at in-progress post-launch content first revealed on the PC Gaming Show 2021. Take a tour through the brand-new Team Objective map Galencourt, complete with lavish high medieval times architecture and destroyable ships – and enjoy highlights of what’s to come with new weapons, a new fighting style with mounted horse combat, and more.

Chivalry 2 at launch is a foundation. It’s intentionally built to be extended,” says Torn Banner Studios CEO & Creative Director Steve Piggott. “Post-launch content is something we’re going to be working on for a long time. The game is going to at least double in size for free.”
