Dana Whitney came to ONE PR Studio as its first member on March 1st 2006, bringing one heck of a consumer media database, eight years of gaming PR experience, and countless well-executed media events in her bag of tricks.
Dana had previously served as Sr. PR Manager of Events and Media at Electronic Arts. In this position, Dana “Silent Ninja” Whitney had the opportunity to work on some of the biggest entertainment properties in gaming history, including video games based on the Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and James Bond franchises. With a focus on mass consumer media and broadcast, she quickly afforded frequent coverage for EA titles on top tier outlets including The Today Show, CNN, Access Hollywood, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, MTV, and Conan O’Brien. Her proudest PR achievement while at EA was booking singer Mya on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, performing the theme song for the game James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing – a first time ever for the Bond property and The Tonight Show.

Before joining EA, Dana served as PR Manager at Ubisoft Entertainment. Leading the PR charge on key Ubisoft titles including Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and Rayman Advance, her media relationships mettle was built here, as she earned Ubisoft coverage in national media including USA Today, Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, CNN, while also producing international press tours to locations including Shanghai, China and Montreal, Canada.
While consumer media has a special place in her heart, Dana is also a well respected member of the gaming community “inner sanctum”. A true “media hound” at heart, Dana’s interest is now turning to the possibilities of emerging media, such as blogs, podcasts, and social networking sites.
At ONE PR Studio, Dana manages an internal team which helps to support a variety of PR campaigns within the digital entertainment industry. Dana brings to her work an unwavering belief that being a human being comes first.
