Jason Andersen joined ONE PR Studio in July 2006. He is an avid gamer, music lover and tech head with over seven years of industry PR experience developing and managing world-wide strategies for AAA entertainment franchises, licensed products and original IPs.
Jason began his career in public relations in 1999 at Electronic Arts where he quickly rose through the ranks within the PR department by consistently delivering exceptional results. He launched the critically acclaimed American McGee’s Alice, and followed the success of Alice by transitioning over to EA’s Need for Speed franchise where he launched the first-ever massively multiplayer online driving game Motor City Online along with the blockbuster Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. During the same year, his PR work on a new IP Freedom Force garnered amazing coverage and helped to elevate the developer’s status.
A highlight to his time at EA was taking lead on developing the strategies and tactics for EA’s new Lord of the Rings license. Working in close collaboration with New Line Cinema, the filmmakers and the actors, Jason was instrumental in helping to release the first ever LOTR

movie game “The Two Towers” – a title that would forever change the landscape of movie-based games. Drafting on this momentum, he worked on The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King where he secured simultaneous cover features across three Future Network USA publications – PC Gamer, PSM, OXM - a first for EA and the LOTR franchise.
In Oct 2003, Jason accepted a PR Manager position at LucasArts. His love for Star Wars and video games made him an ideal fit to take the reins of their Episode III movie-based game and their new Star Wars Battlefront franchise. Star Wars Battlefront 2 gathered more press coverage than the previous title and achieved even greater success on its’ way to becoming the best selling Star Wars game of all time. Taking a vacation from a galaxy far, far away, Jason helped manage Mercenaries, which earned numerous awards and earned the title of being the #1 original IP of 2005.
At ONE PR Studio, Jason manages an internal team which helps to support a variety of PR campaigns within the interactive entertainment industry. In his role, he is looking forward to broadening his skill set into other entertainment fields.
